Bring Art to Life with Afrocentric Keyy

Art is not a backdrop. It is an event.

Afrocentric Keyy extends beyond the studio in two ways — bringing the work directly into rooms, gatherings, and spaces that are ready to hold something real.

Paint & Sip

Art is not a backdrop. It is an event.

Afrocentric Keyy extends beyond the studio in two ways — bringing the work directly into rooms, gatherings, and spaces that are ready to hold something real.

Paint & Sip — Guided sessions with intention

This is not a paint-by-numbers night. It is a guided creative experience built around storytelling, cultural expression, and the particular kind of conversation that only happens when people make something together.

Each session is led by Afrocentric Keyy and designed around a theme of the night— so participants leave with a painting that means something, not just a souvenir of an evening. All materials are provided. Sessions are hosted in person across the New York City area.

Paint & Sip is well suited for corporate retreats, employee wellness programs, private celebrations, and group gatherings of any kind. If you have never held a brush before, that is exactly the point of entry. If you have, there is still something here for you.

Art Rental

Art Rental — Original works for spaces that mean business

There are rooms that need something on the wall, and there are rooms that need to say something. This service is for the second kind.

Afrocentric Keyy's rental collection brings original Afro-Realist oil portraits into offices, creative studios, hospitality spaces, pop-up installations, and curated environments on a rotating or fixed-term basis. These are not prints. Not reproductions. Each work is an original — painted on reclaimed wood, carrying the full weight of that process — placed temporarily in a space that earns it.

Art rental is ideal for businesses and organizations that want their environment to reflect genuine cultural investment, not decoration. It is also an entry point for collectors who want to live with a work before pursuing acquisition.
