Garden of the Nine Muses - Solo Exhibition 2026
GARDEN OF THE NINE MUSES — A Solo Exhibition by Afrocentric Keyy
Mythology. Lineage. Transformation.
Step into Garden of the 9 Muses, an immersive contemporary art exhibition by Brooklyn-based artist Afrocentric Keyy. Across two nights in NYC, nine reimagined Muses emerge as living archives of creativity, ancestry, memory, and cultural storytelling through bold oil portraits painted on reclaimed wood.
Blending Afro-Realist portraiture, sculptural hair elements, layered symbolism, and vibrant color, the exhibition explores the connection between identity, lineage, transformation, and the power of creative expression.
More than an art exhibition, Garden of the 9 Muses is an immersive experience — inviting guests to move through storytelling, music, conversation, and interactive moments designed to deepen connection beyond the surface.
This is not simply a show to observe.
It is a living archive of creativity, remembrance, and cultural memory — and you are invited to step inside it.

In Her Image — Solo Exhibition
This exhibition brings together a range of works I’ve created over the years, exploring the layered expressions of womanhood. Through portraiture painted on reclaimed wood, these pieces reflect the many ways women are seen, felt, remembered, and imagined.
